Decorated from the owner’s travels in Kenya, Tanzania, and South Africa, this villa has an exotic atmosphere, especially at night by candlelight. But you don’t have to wait until stars twinkle to enjoy this Mexican retreat; you will enjoy your entire stay here! The house is comfortable, the beach beautiful, and the snorkeling, excellent.
Villa Leona has one bedroom with a queen bed, a loft with a king size bed and a queen size futon, as well as two bathrooms in the house. A pull out futon in the living room could sleep an additional 2 people if needed.
As you enter Villa Leona you step into the kitchen and dining area, as well as the living room with a leopard carpet, leather armchairs, coffee table, and a black futon sofa and chair that convert to a queen and single size bed, respectively. Mahogany louvered doors lead you into a beautifully decorated bedroom with a queen size bed, bedside tables and exotic carpets.
Adjacent to the living room are the full kitchen, bathroom, and a dining table seating four. The dining room opens to the private backyard with a garden and the beach beyond. The house is air-conditioned and ceiling fans circulate the cool breezes from the sea. Outside, a grill and outdoor dining table are located on a tiled patio surrounded by garden.
From the living room a mahogany stairs lead to the loft, with a king size bed and second living room. The loft area is candle lit and very romantic. The loft living room has another queen size futon sofa, zebra carpet, and is a comfortable place to socialize. It also has a walkway to a balcony that overlooks the ocean.
The beach in front of Villa Leona has a shade palapa structure with hammocks and a nice sandy beach that's great lounging. The snorkeling is good from the beach and a kayak is provided for exploring Soliman Bay. On the side of the house, use the exterior shower for rinsing off the salt and sand from the beach.
One queen size bedroom; king size bed and queen size futon in the loft. A queen and a single futon in the ground level living room.
A tropical garden surrounds the house. An outdoor dining table and chairs is on the patio along with a grill. Just beyond the garden is the beach with a shade palapa, hammocks, and lounge chairs. Snorkel from the beach or paddle out into the bay with the kayaks provided and look for sea turtles which you snorkel around the coral heads.
Villa Leona is a shining example of beachfront living at its best. Settle in and enjoy your tropical vacation in high style. When you are craving activity, snorkel or kayak in the bay, take a short drive to Tulum, Coba, Xel-Ha or one of the many other attractions in the area.
