The ground floor is the living area of the house. The fully-equiped kitchen has all you need for a comfortable stay (refridgerator, toaster, microwave, blender, coffee maker, coffee grinder, etc). The dining table seats four and is separated from the kitchen by a breakfast bar. The bathroom on this level is gorgeous with marble, cut limestone, and mahogany cabinetry. A romantic outdoor shower for two, tiled in Mexican travertine, will make you swoon. The living room features a built-in, L-shaped sofa with a fantastic view of the pool, and a large coffee table. Glass doors lead out to the patio.
A central spiral staircase leads to the upstairs bedroom suites. Each suite is air-conditioned and has a king-size bed, large armoires, built-in vanities, and sitting areas with double futons. The sitting area has a coffee table and comfortable, double futon sofa that converts into an additional bed. Mexican artwork adorns the walls and the romantic palapa roof completes the ambience. Glass doors open to the ocean views on the large terrace. Wood shutters open to allow the sea breeze and ceiling fans are throughout the house.
Playa Belleza welcomes children and has a crib and high chair for your use. For larger luggage pieces, a lift is located next to the parking spaces. Simply attach the bag and hoist to the upstairs terrace.
Two identical king-size bedrooms each with a private terrace and bathroom. Each room has a sitting area with a coffee table and convertible double futon sofa. The palapa ceiling creates a romantic atmosphere. Each room has fabulous views of the gardens, pool, and ocean.
Step outside on the patio in front of the beach and there is a 40 ft. long swimming pool The pool has a shallow area perfect for small children, separated from the deep end by in-water stools, where parents can sit and watch the kids enjoy the pool. The garden has a large grassy area for lawn games, gas BBQ, and picnic table; and of course the beach is just steps away. There are limestone rocks with tidepools in them directly to the right and in front of the villa.
A ¼-mile walk from Playa Belleza is Manatee cenote (a fresh stream from a series of underground caves and canals flowing to the sea) where you can birdwatch and snorkel. When you are craving activity, snorkel or kayak in the bay, take a short drive to Tulum, Coba, Xel-Ha or one of the many other attractions in the area.
